Re: Error adding file to SQL transaction
Can you try this:
In More Options->Scanning uncheck the 'Ignore extentions when comparing file names' option and see if this fixes it. This routine may be failing on your samba paths.

OK thanks, that looks good (in that I'm getting the same result as you). I'll get digging and get back to you in the next day or so (hopefully with a fix...)

Re: Display Error
Sorry you are having trouble. Which version are you running?
Is it possible for you to upload your duplicatecleaner.data file so I can test the issue?
It's in C:\Users\[YOURUSER]\AppData\Roaming\DigitalVolcano\DuplicateCleaner on Windows 7. You can zip and email it if it's not too big.
Thanks!

Re: New Version 3.2
Thanks. Is it possible for you to message me with an upload/dropbox link of the images in a couple of the incorrect duplicate groups? Also did you have any other search criteria specified apart from what you mentioned below.

Re: Image Mode search not working
Hi, If you are still having this problem is there any chance of sending me your CuplicatecleanerPro.data file? (It's in C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\DigitalVolcano\DuplicateCleaner). This would be most helpful after you've ran a full scan (the second time) and it finds nothing from the cached dat...

Re: New Version 3.2
Do you mean it's finding lots of images that aren't identical? Any chance of a screenshot showing some of the groups with a side-by-side image window? Thanks!

Re: v 2.5 batch preview not working
No, this isn't implemented currently.
The preview that was added in 2.1 was the scratchpad replace preview (right-click on a file, and there is a 'Preview file with replacements in scratchpad' option). This command does support batch mode.

Re: Selection Path to Find Dupes
You can use the selection assistant - this can help you mark large amounts of files. For instance, with audio you can mark each group by lowest bitrate (keep highest) http://www.duplicatecleaner.com/manual/selection_marking_actions_submenu.htm?ms=AA==&mw=MjQw&st=MA==&sct=MTEx You can als...
