I see what you mean. 'Don't scan against self' would include duplicates between the other folders, which isn't what you want.
So - the required feature is an 'Only show files which duplicate the ones in this folder' flag.

Re: Not declaring these files as the same
I will get a change made in the next version (3.2.2) to remove the restriction on hard-linking where the files aren't identical. That should solve your problems as you'll be able to use Image Mode to do what you need.

Yes, the current version will run in either 32 or 64 bit mode depending on your system.

Re: Feature Request
This feature isn't currently implemented. It was on the ideas list though.
Thinking about it, can it be done just by setting all the input folders apart from 'My Documents' to "Don't scan against self" ?

Re: Duplicate Cleaner UI Sluggish
Very strange - I wonder if this is related to your list flickering problem below. Does it do this each time, even after a fresh start?

Re: Image Mode search not working
OK, I've identified this problem - it's due to a bad entry in the cache file (i.e. an image that was corrupt or unreadable on the original scan). This bad entry then affects any subsequent scans.
This will be fixed in version 3.2.2!

Re: Preview lines before and after
Hi
There was a manual for version 1.x but it is outdated and can no longer be relied on (version 2 uses a different type of reg-ex engine for one). A proper manual is planned for version 3!
An option to show lines before and after the replace hit is also on the roadmap for version 3.

Re: Use of the Duplicate Folder Feature
The duplicate folder function identifies entire duplicated folder structures within your scanned files, based on the content of those files (according to the criteria you set for the scan). Re: Scan indicates that there are no duplicate files
It sounds like you may have some other criteria enabled which is stopping it from identifying many files. You can turn on logging (More Options, Log events to file) and paste the log here - that might give a clue as to the problem.
