Re: Feedback on several probs + DIFFICULTY of GIVING feedback

( 1. I disagree entirely. IMO, the only place one should look for support is on a proper forum, like this, on the owners website. [Or at least a specific "place" that has a forum dedicated to support a particular product. Untold number of programs that I gave up on, early - simply because ...

Re: Won't even start

Is /appdata/roaming/ an expected place for DC to be installed into? It says "8 protected folders added". Not sure what that means, but when I look on my end, I see the instalDir with 5 subdirectories therein. What OS are you running? Might an A/V be interfering? Google: xceed.wpf.datagridc...

Re: V5 Audio comparison

In V4 there was a 'scan against self' option which seems to have diasappeared On the 'Scan location' tab, the box with the dropdown icon, affords various scan options: No - No files from this folder will be matched as duplicates, though they may be shown in the Remaining files tab if 'Show remainin...

Re: Suggest:minification & F7 copy folder(path)

While adding shortcut keys is always good (I've even suggested some myself ;-)), it is much better if they can be user defined. So while F7 might work for NBRU, in other programs I use, I have assigned F6 to Copy (Full) Path. Now if it ends up being F7, one can always adapt, but in the general sense...

Re: software crashes every time it needs to remove duplicates

Is D: an actual drive on your computer, or is that actually your phone itself?
If the phone, does the phone have a "recycle-bin"?

Re: download Duplicate Cleaner 5 64-bits

Heh... And while we're here... With a "casual" look, like if one were to look at "Duplicate Cleaner 5.exe" it appears to be a 32-bit executable (0x014C (Intel x86)) & if you look at some of the other .dll's, similar can be seen. Now I'm aware of how a "stub" (32-bit...

Re: download Duplicate Cleaner 5 64-bits

check Settings->About What does the above say? Where a program installs to, may not necessarily coincide with its bitness. (For various reasons a 64-bit program may end up in a "32-bit" directory [which is actually kind of meaningless], like sometimes if a 32-bit version were installed pr...

Verify that only wanted files are then selected...

Re: [bug] Installing new versions leaves old Installer on system

Confirmed. if I attempt to use one of the older uninstallers it will remove the latest version installed I think it's going to be more like, assuming you've installed into the same install location, it will remove those parts applicable to the particular uninstall version. So say you've installed 5....
