Error adding items: 397 Object reference not set to an insta
I'm scanning a VIDEO_TS folder with a lot of hard links. At the end, this message box pops up. --------------------------- DuplicateCleaner --------------------------- Error adding items: 397 Object reference not set to an instance of an object. --------------------------- OK -----------------------...

Diagnostics: "Error Removing Folders" msg box
I scanned for 92% images, duplicate file names, search against self using my massive folder tree.. I marked 180 odd folders (7689 files) from the Duplicate Folders tab, Clicked File Removal, and set the options : -- Move files to new folder (which didn't exist) -- keep folder structure -- remove emp...

Suggestion: Find and Locate commands
A free text Find Command on the right click menu, and view menu. It searches through the path/file names on the Dup Folders and Dup Files. It does not require a full file/patch match, just the target text somewhere on the line. A free text Locate Command will will distinguish (by color?) all entries...

Bug? Cannot mark a folder on the Dup Folder Tab
Not sure how you're going to reproduce this. We're dealing with a large folder tree here -- 1.074 folders 42,985 files 61.4 GB I scanned in Image mode, 92%, same file name. There were 169 Folder Groups, 33481 Duplicate Files. Question: Did a content compare also take place, or were only the file nam...

Duplicate File tab suggestion laundry list (3.0.8)
1. Mark/un-mark a folder from the keyboard. 2. Check boxes next to folders, like on the Dup Files tab, that can be toggled by click or space bar. 3. Un-mark a folder from the right click menu. The only way I found to un-mark one thing is to un-mark everything by clicking "Refresh Folders"....

Re: Feature / suggestion thread.
Good suggestions thanks. 1-3 are in the process of being Implemented in some form for v 3.0.5 . I'm running 3.0.8 , and I can't figure out how, from the "Duplicate Folders" tab, to mark a folder from the keyboard. Also, the message box appears most of the time too. How about adding check ...

Re: Bit for bit identicals files not seen as duplicates.
I'd definitely like some documentation on what the %ages are. The compare problem is multidimensional: 1. How close is the metadata? Which has 'better' metadata? 2. How do the images differ from editing -- Cropping? Resizing? Compression? 3. How similar are the images, for example multiple snaps of ...

The template is: exif date=$E306...
