Thanks, but it is not about the file size.

It's about the time it takes to add more hashes, the bigger the file gets.
Even on an i9 13th gen. machine with 96 GB of RAM it takes several minutes when e.g. 1,000 new duplicate hashes need to be added.

My file hash cache DuplicateCleaner5_Pro_Cache-MD5.data is getting too big - very fast. More than 1.5 GB at the moment!
But I don't want to clear the cache completely every time.

Is there a way to achieve this directly with Duplicate Cleaner 5?
If not, this would be a feature request from my end.

Did you already try a combination of selections under 'Mark by group' - in the Selection Assistant?
If you cannot find a solution in the end, maybe you could post some example file names for me or others here to test with:

Well, for me this works:
I first e.g. sort (all files found) by name,
next, I sort by group.

Result: In all groups, files are now sorted by name.

I guess the same procedure should work for you, when it comes to sorting by images widths.
