The same problem exits with the CR2 and DNG files I had available. Thus it seems that this is related to (library used for) raw support in general.

I use Duplicate Cleaner pro on my Win10 machine and I have Nikon NEF codec installed as well. In windows explorer I can see the "Date taken" tag of my NEF files, but Duplicate Cleaner does not find DateTimeDigitized tag for any of my NEF files. Exiftool finds and prints CreateDate tag (exi...
