I had a look for DupeMaster and found a version 1.7 by CH-Soft (in German) - is this the correct program or another with the same name?

Are these files that are still in use by the operating system? If they are then they are probably locked out. I wouldn't recommend using Duplicate Cleaner to remove files from your live AppData folder - it could affect the running of your system.

Thanks, interesting ideas there. I've added this to the proposed features list for version 4 - it will have improved photo browsing/marking.

Version 3 will have better support for multi-core.

BTW, this was fixed in version 3.2.3 - so if you grab the latest version it won't have this issue!

This bug has recently been confirmed in testing, as is slated for a fix in v3.2.5!

There could be a problem with that particular file. Is it set to read-only? (right-click and click 'Properties' to check).

Is it giving the error message upon trying to delete the marked files? Can you delete it manually from Windows Explorer? It could be a permissions issue.

Can you view the picture from Windows explorer?
