Re: Hardlink Error: process in use

Looks like there is a bug with cleaning up the temporary hardlink files when there is a lock on the file - it should just fail with no temporary file created as a don't think you can hardlink a locked file.

I've logged the bug!

Re: Run Multiple Simultaneous Instances

Yes, it was removed again when the program was switched over to using a database. Currently the program isn't set up to use different database files, and running two sessions would write to the same data table, causing problems! Something to review in the next major version.

Re: folder tree problem

Re: the non-expandable drive - Duplicate Cleaner just reports what it gets back from the operating system via the .NET framework. The framework must be reporting no folders under that drive, or it is getting an access exception when trying (more likely). The only way I can think of checking this is ...

Re: Available Folders List: Not Alphabetized?

Re: Should Access Denied Files Be Noted Or Logged

Yes it ignores them . I can't recall at the minute whether they are written to the log file (if enabled). Probably something to look in to!

Re: Feature Suggest - Delete files in specified path

Is it the right-click context menu "Mark->Mark all files found in this folder (tree)" that you are looking for?
