Can I create copies of unique files found?
So I scanned and compared 2 drives. Drive C has several unique files, that aren't in Drive D. I have the list from the unique files tab. I'm able to select all. Can I create a copy of them in Drive D? How do I do this?

Re: Is using byte by byte absolutely safe? Even for Photos?
Hi. My purpose is to eliminate multiple duplicates. Exact copy, not rotated, not renamed. It's exactly what I want. I'll do byte by byte first, delete copies, then recreate copies. Currently, some folders have a file, others don't. So it's not exactly multiple copies of the same original files as of...

Is using byte by byte absolutely safe? Even for Photos?
My exif dates may not necessarily be accurate anymore, due to lots of moving around. Somewhere along the way, I may have wrongly selected created date/ or modified date as preferred last copy left on my drive. Now, I'm very confused with how to make sure I have multiple copies of the same file alrea...

How to remove copies in same folder, making sure to keep same copy in backup locations
I have 3 locations for my pictures: 1. SSD on my desktop drive C 2. HDD on my desktop drive D 3. NAS On location 1, there are duplicate files within itself. In location 2, there is also. I believe it's the same case for location 3. Let's say I tackle location 1 first, e.g. abc.jpg, abc(1).jpg, delet...

How to delete duplicate files with different different exif dates
Hi. I usually keep backups of photos, and make multiple copies of them in different folders. Maybe due to all the moving around, the digitised date, modified date, can no longer be trusted as the date when it happened. Taking a look at the at exif date in ACDSee doesn't show any more dates, and ACDS...

Re: search for duplicate photos, the other with slight name change (1)
They are scattered throughout my C: drive, different folders and subfolders.
Initially, I will have to search for files that are similar, with original files, and filenames that are slightly different, such as (1).jpg If i have an original, will delete (1).jpg. If not, will just retain.

Re: Delete duplicates that are not matching Digitised date (Exif data)
Easiest way is to say delete all except the oldest file in digitised date, but in mass selection, there are only modified date, created date, and no digitised date. And the result from search don't really guarantee that all in the topmost result are the ones with the oldest digitised date.
