Duplicate Cleaner 2.1
Select by text pattern, # Fails
(I have not verified, nor do I know if DC3 is affected ...)
I am ... Select by text pattern |
Column: Path | Pattern: \\Nas\office\COPY\_LARRY\My Documents\Word\School#61\
Match, RE, & currently selected rows, are unchecked.
This fails to select any files, when it should.
I suspect that it is the # sign that is affecting things.
---
What I have been doing up to this point is to highlight a particular file (tree, if you will).
Select by location, & using the > to paste its path into the dialog
> \\Nas\office\COPY\_LARRY\My Documents\Word\School#61\Subcontracts\P&J\
Copying that, then pasting it into the Select by text pattern dialog, truncating the path to fit my needs.
> \\Nas\office\COPY\_LARRY\My Documents\Word\School#61\
Then clicking the Mark button.
(I'm doing it this way because, using the '>' makes it easy to get the path, then jump to the other Selection tab & paste it in & modify & go.)
Had no problems until the tree with the # came about.
