Audio mode scan is turtle slow!

Scanning for duplicate audio in folder with 12 000 audio files (mix of flac, m4a, ogg and mp3) with "compare first 15 sec" takes about an hour. Doesn't find much. "2 min" takes third of a day. Finds about 95%. And I don't even want to know how much time will "compare full file" scan consume.
You probably presume that I have potato PC. But sadly, no: Duplicate Cleaner's audio scanning algorithm requires dedication. How am I so sure? Well, because I found a freeware tool called "Similarity". It's the best tool I've seen for duplicate audio finding: it goes through my music folder in 20 minutes. I joke you not, it actually found valid duplicates, a lot of them! (Can't tell how good is DC's duplicate image finder, but Similarity defeated VisiPics in tests.) And I only tried the free version.
If devs of DC really want audio and image comparison features to be of high value, they have to take a look how rival software does it, especially why such powerful features are given for free.
