black background

What is causing this? I cannot read any of the program headings, etc with this black background.

What kind of computer?

What OS?
Is it an "anniversary edition"?
What Windows "theme" are you using?

What video card?
Any change if you reboot your computer in Safe Mode?

Are you running in High Contrast mode? The program deploys some colour changes when it detects Windows is using this mode. It's possible that this is making it worse.

Hey, the theme was the problem! It had a black background, but don't remember changing it and no other program has that problem.
