Crash and won't reboot.

Post by realsculpt »

After it ran for about 24 hours and found 1.5 tb of duplicates. It crashed. ( my fault for opening info tab)

But now won't reopen. Unistalled it then reinstalled it and still freezes and never goes past basic install. No way to read enter my pro code.

I'm doing a system restore now.

Do I need to unisntall, and clean registry?

Restart and reinstall? Or if I upgrage to windows 10 would that help? I have a free upgrade still to that.

Thanks in advance. So far this program is great. Just cleaning an external drive now.

I wouldn't worry about registry cleaners, etc.

Try deleting the program database -
It's C:\Users\[YOUR USER]\AppData\Roaming\DigitalVolcano\DuplicateCleaner\DuplicateCleanerPro.data on Windows 7.
(Close program first)
