Is it possible to save audio hashes?

Post by ToGo1919 »

Howdy,
I'm looking for duplicate music files in a number of directories from my NAS server.

Is there a way, which I do not recognize after reviewing the manual, to have hashes saved for subsequent searches? This way, the files would not have to be re-read each time from the disk for hashing?

Thank you,
TG

Not currently possible I'm afraid, but this hash caching functionality is on the development list for version 4.

Thanks

Software development isn't usually something where it is easy to give an exact release date, unless it is some of the larger companies where a new program or game it is done for several weeks/months they are just holding it to build hype.
